Located at the foot of Macclesfield Forest and right on the edge of Ridgegate Reservoir, the Smithy is a regular haunt for weary walkers, cyclists and fishermen looking for refreshment and relaxation.

For those wishing to explore the surrounding area in a more relaxed manner, you may wish to stay in the charming cottage of Highlow Farm, a mere 300 yards from the Leather’s Smithy. If you’d like more information please call Peter or Debbie on 01260 252218.

As well as the vast and delightful forest, there are also numerous walks to discover around the Peak District park of Teggs Nose too, or you might just decide to sit outside and relax in one of our beer gardens.

Wherever you decide to head off you can be assured of breath taking scenery, beautiful views, friendly people and the warmest of welcomes on your return to the Leather’s Smithy!
